Birth?! Present!? Readings?! :D

Hey there, just uploading my journal for no particular reason at all

I'm now writing this as I'm waiting to hear from my brother and his wife... she's pregnant and she's dued tomorrow!! She's at the hospital now cause the baby (who's a girl and will be called Matilde ) seems willing to come out
We live very very close to the hospital, so they'll tell us when we're needed and we'll go!!

Anyway, I'm now drawing something for my best friend's birthday, which will be on monday. She wrote a very long 'happy birthday' comment on my facebook wall when I turned 18 (literally made me cry, but not because of it cheesyness - it wasn't - it was because of her honesty and affection), and now it's her turn! But I'm not good with words, so I thought about a drawing. I should post it on her wall as well
It's nothing special, cause I drew so many times for her; I also posted a pic with her here on dA as well, here it is:

The pic will include many characters showing her obsessions, like someone or something from Harry Potter and Mortal Instruments, a bunch of characters from the Studio Ghibli movies, her fave subjects... a mash up

I'm also spending some time reading. I'm now reading this excellent fanfiction about The Hunger Games, it's called 'Saving the Boy' and assumes that Katniss won the 71st Hunger Games, being a Mentor during Peeta's Hunger Games. It's pretty good! I obviously can't judge the writing style of it, cause I'm not English and stuff, but I like the story and I'm now at the 16th chapter
I also read a very good book by Julianna Baggott, Pure. I loved it!! Maybe I'll draw some fanart of it in the future I recomment ot to all of you!!

I'm now reading some 'big' books like Fahrenheit 451 and 1984. That's mostly because I want 'Distopian Fiction' to be the subject of my High School Graduation Exam thesis next year!!
